MPI Direct Repair

Direct Repair enables customers with eligible auto claims around Winnipeg to proceed directly to a participating repair shop for a vehicle damage estimate after reporting the claim to MPI, rather than attending an MPI Service or Claim Centre. 

To be eligible for the Manitoba Public Insurance Direct Repair Program, which can save you time, please complete the following:

  • Call MPI first to report your claim;
  • Obtain an eligible Direct Repair claim number from MPI; and,
  • Call Crown Autobody & Glass to book an estimate and to arrange for repairs.

How It Works

Claims can be estimated at one of MPI’s Service Centres, while eligible Direct Repair claims can be estimated at participating Direct Repair shops. Your estimate options will be discussed with you when you report your claim to MPI. An estimator identifies the damage to your vehicle and determines what repairs are needed.

Once you receive your estimate from an MPI Service Centre, or if you are granted an eligible Direct Repair claim number, we can proceed to work with MPI to get your vehicle repaired.
